Cyclones Keep Rolling

The Highway 91 Cyclones traveled to O’Neil to take on the Eagles on Thursday, September 16th. Then they played North Bend at Dodge on Monday, September 20, adding two wins to their record!

In the first win against O’Neill, the Cyclones took the lead late in the game.  The game was tied at 7 at the bottom of the sixth when Lily Praest doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. This led to a 9-7 win for the Cyclones.

Senior Faith Indra had a great night batting, singling three times and adding a double in the fourth inning in her four times at bat.

Pitcher Jaedyn Ratzlaff struck out four batters in the win.

 In their next game against North Bend, the Cyclones edged out another win.  The game was tied at 12 in the bottom of the eighth when Nessa Krupka was walked, bringing one run in to win the game.

Praest collected four hits in five at bats to lead the Cyclone offense.  Despite allowing 12 runs on 9 hits, pitcher Ratzlaff struck out 18.
