LHS Sends 8 to Honor Choir
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEight Leigh High School students were selected to the East Husker Conference Honor Choir, which took place on November 6th at the Wisner-Pilger High School.
The 7 attendees were Lilly Bunner, Paige Kurpgeweit, Morgan Bunner, Jack Brabec, Liam Foley, Sydney Messerlie, and Gabe Pinkston, while the 8th attendee Amaiya Ross was out sick.
Choir Teacher Sydney Wemhoff said, “The EHC honor choir is a great day for our students to work with other schools in the conference. The students had a full day of rehearsals and performed songs from a wide range of genres. It was a great experience for them!”
The students learned four songs over the course of the day before singing in a concert that evening.
Senior Lilly Bunner said, “I enjoyed the EHC honor choir because it gives our choir students the chance to interact and work together with the other schools in our conference.”
