Elementary Christmas Concert A Success!

On Monday, December 18th, Leigh Elementary held their annual Pre-K through 6th grade Christmas concert. Each class sang 3 songs. The preschoolers’ songs were “I’m a Little Snowman, “His Name is Santa Claus,” and “Five Little Elves.” The Kindergarteners sang “The Little Snowflake,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” and “Santa Claus is Coming To Town.”

First and second grade sang “My Two Front Teeth,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “Rocks For Christmas.” Third and fourth grade sang “Winter Waltz,” “Song for Christmas Time,” and “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree.” Finally, the fifth and sixth graders sang “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” and “Christmas in the Valley.”

Director Sydney Wemhoff said, “The elementary concert went great! The crowd turnout was incredible and the students did a great job singing their songs! I challenged the 3rd-6th graders with two-part songs for this concert, and I think they did a fantastic job singing more challenging songs.”
