Two Games in One Night
On October 2nd, the Clarkson-Leigh JV football team played two games in one day as a split squad. One game was played in Leigh against Howells Dodge. The second game was played in Lyons against Lyons-Decatur.
The game in Leigh against Howells Dodge in Leigh we won 28-12. The game in Lyons-Decatur we lost 6-36.
Senior Simon Wemhoff, who played against Howells-Dodge, said, “It was a great physical game that we won.”
Freshman James Moore, who played in the Lyons-Decatur game, said, "Besides the loss, we still played pretty intensely and skillfully. This also was a great opportunity to get all of us some playing time, and to learn from our mistakes."
