Junior High FB Shows Improvement

On October 9th, the Junior High Football team had their last game of the season.

JH football coach Jeff Bachman stated, “This was a fun end to our season. Although, we did not win the game, we showed tremendous improvement throughout the season. The players worked hard, were coachable, and made tremendous strides this year. I look forward to watching them to continue to develop as football players.”

Assistant JH Football Coach, Jeff Korus stated, “They were a little bigger than us. They caught us off guard a couple times with a wing reverse for a couple of touchdowns. They also had a tall TE that out jumped us for a couple more touchdowns. We had a kick return for a touchdown by Ryan Steffenmeier, then just after HLHF had run a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The players kept battling, but we came up short when the clock ran out.

The final score of the game was 20-44 in favor of the Bulldogs, and the Patriots finished the season with a 2-4 record.
