Patriots Finish Regular Season

On a stormy night on the 12th of October, the Patriots football team traveled to Madison, Nebraska to take on the Dragons.

The game was moved up to 5 pm instead of 7 pm due to the potential for severe storms.

The Patriots jumped out with an early lead and continued to bring a first-half pounding to the Dragons, but the game was called at halftime due to lightning and rain. The final score after two quarters was 34-6.  This still counts as a full-game win for the Patriots.

Sophomore Luke Eisenman shared his thoughts on the game: “I feel like we played a really great game. It was a fun night, but it was unfortunate the game had to end early.”

Assistant Coach Bazata also had an opinion on the game:

“The boys played really well for the short amount of time they were out on the field. I really wish we could have played the second half so some of the younger kids could have gotten in and we could have seen what the future of Patriot Football can do against an opponent.”

With this win, the Patriots finished the regular season with a 5-3 record to enter the playoffs.
