Leigh Senior Class (L to R): Alisyn Lich, Amaiya Ross, Emily Stender, Kammy Held, Baylee Settje, Izzy Hollatz, Carter Brabec, Jared Olson, Ella Urban, Brynn Settje, Paige Kurpgeweit, Brianne Kuhr, Keeley Campbell

This year on April 26, 2025, the Leigh High School and Clarkson High School seniors, juniors, and sophomore servers gathered together for Prom. This year’s theme was “Unmasking the Night.” The theme consisted of masquerade masks, feathers, and balloons in black, white, and gold. This year’s prom was held at the Clarkson High School in the old gym.

The doors opened at 4:30 for pictures. Lots of parents and family members came to take class pictures. Pictures lasted until 5:50 when the meal was served. This year the meal was brisket, twice-baked potato, green beans, dinner rolls, and cheesecake. It began at 6 pm. It was catered by Stormin’ Norman’s BBQ of Dodge.

The meal was served by this year's sophomore prom servers. There were 6 servers from Leigh and 6 servers from Clarkson. Servers are the top students academically in the sophomore class.

As a tradition, after dinner was served, the grand march took place. The grand march was open to the public. Parents, grandparents, family members and friends came to see all the attendants have their names announced with their dates.

The dance began immediately after. The dance started off with a parent/child dance. The dance lasted until 10:45 p.m.

The evening concluded with games put on by the post-prom parents, starting with a hypnotist that mezmorized the students. There were also different card games such as poker, as well as Jenga, badminton, Twister, spike ball, and many more fun games.

At 1:30am, students gathered for prizes. Each student's name was chosen out of a bag to go pick a prize.

Junior Elizabeth Hoffman said, “It was such a blast to bust some moves on the dance floor and socialize with anyone and everyone over a delightful supper, specially curated by the amazing junior class. The post prom hypnotist was very entertaining. I loved every minute of it, and am so glad to have had the time of my life at prom '25!”

Senior Brianne Kuhr said, “The junior class did an amazing job decorating for prom, and it set the scene for the night. I loved seeing everyone in their dresses and suits, and I enjoyed spending time with my friends. It was the best time!”
