EHC Art Show Held in Clarkson
The East Husker Conference Art Show was held in Clarkson Public Schools on April 16th. A number of students from Leigh submitted art pieces to the show with good success.
There were 19 students who submitted their projects, which ranged from acrylic paintings to ceramics.
Freshman Vivian Bunner submitted a digital artwork called “Frustration” and received a blue ribbon, the second highest honor. She also received a white ribbon for her mixed media artwork “Museum of Animal Art.”
Bunner said, “The EHC was definitely one of the most fun and educational days of the year. We got to make our own version of the art and take it home, which was really amazing. I had a great time and would love to do it again.”
Trevor Hoffman received a white ribbon for his acrylic painting “Friday Night Lights.”
Mrs. Jennifer Maliha, the art teacher, said, “Trevor spent more than a semester working on his painting. His time and effort was rewarded. Vivian is a natural artist and will continue to create some amazing art pieces.”
Congratulations to all who competed!
