Patriots Wrestlers Continue to Compete Hard

On December 6, the Patriot wrestling team opened their season with the Howells-Dodge Invite.

The team had a strong start, having two medalists in their first meet, with freshman Mason Faltys finishing in 4th, and senior returning state champ Levi Gall finishing in 1st. Additionally, sophomore wrestler Hunter Gall finished in 5th.

The rest of the team also competed well with Junior Wyatt Langhorst going 1-2 on the day, junior Misael Ciriaco going 1-2, and sophomore Aiden Hake going 0-2 on the day.

Another wrestler hit the mat for the very first time with junior James Moore. While the day may not have gone as he hoped going 0-5 in his first meet, he still took it as a learning experience and cheered on his team saying, “It was uplifting to see everyone working hard to win their matches and allowing ourselves to learn with each match. Overall, it was a pretty solid tournament.”
