Girls’ Golf Competes at Boone Central
On September 16th, the Patriot girls’ golf team traveled to Albion to test their talents at the Boone Central Invite. The team has lots of faces this year and have had an amazing season so far.
The team placed 12th at this tournament, but they have definitely shown improvement over the course of the season.
Coach Held had shared her thoughts on the meet:
“We had a lot of new faces hit the course, and it was a good learning experience.”
Junior Delanie Erwin shared her thoughts on how the team did “It was a great day to be on the course and we had a lot of new low scores for our varsity team.”
The top five individual scores from our team were Emilie Hajek shooting 112, Brianne Kuhr 122, Emily Stender 125, Delanie Erwin 130, and Halle Korth 139.
