Golfers Finish Regular Season at Oakland
On September 30th, 2023 the Patriots girls golf headed to Oakland to test their golf skills. The team has had a very good season as it is winding down.
Twelve area schools attended the invite, which gave the Patriots lots of challenges and a tough tournament. The Patriots overall placed 8th out of 12.
Junior golfer Emily Stender shared her thoughts on the invite: “The Oakland meet was a good meet for the varsity right before districts. Even though there were some good teams we tried our best.”
The Patriots individual stats are Emilie Hajek golfing a 128, Delanie Erwin a 126, Emily Stender a 134, Brianne Kuhr a 142 and Halie Korth a 168.
