LHS Celebrates FCCLA Week

By: Gracie Eisenmann, a sophomore at Leigh High School

All across the nation, FCCLA week was celebrated February 14-18. The Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA chapter had a week filled with fun activities for everyone to participate in.

On Monday, the FCCLA officers wished everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Tuesday’s activity consisted of trivia. There were FCCLA related questions posted by the FCS room for students to answer correctly for a prize.

A school’s favorite for Wednesday was Doughnut Day. Students and faculty were able to enjoy doughnuts and juice for breakfast.

On Thursday logos were hidden throughout the school for students to find. Once they found a logo they were able to turn them in for a prize.

At the end of the week students had the opportunity to wear red or their FCCLA t-shirts.

President of the FCCLA chapter, Natalie Brabec said, “FCCLA week was a great time for the staff, students, and community to learn more about what FCCLA is all about."
