Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn April 2nd the Leigh Elementary second and third graders went on a field trip to the Edgerton Explorit Center in Aurora. The Edgerton Explorit Center teaches kids about science with hands-on science activities.
The second and third graders learned about boiling points and freezing points, the four states of matter, and different forms of electricity and how they are used. They did various activities that corresponded with the topic they were learning.
Olivia Glinsmann said, “The field trip was very exciting”.
Alyza Nettleton-Myers said, “It was very fun to see the science experiments and seeing people get shocked.”
