Large Incoming Kindergarten Class Attends Kindergarten Round Up
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Thursday, April 18, Leigh Community Schools hosted this year's kindergarten round up. 33 eager pre-school students who will all be heading to Kindergarten next year attended!
All of the kids had a blast signing their “letters of intent” to join the Leigh graduating class of 2037 just like aspiring college athletes. They also did fun activities while the parents had attended an orientation meeting. They are super excited to be in kindergarten next year.
Mrs. Michkayla Wietfeld will be Kindergarten teacher again next year, but with such a large incoming class, a second Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Ann Sobota, was hired to teach half of the students.
“Mrs. Sobota and I are very excited to teach and watch this large class learn and grow!” said Mrs. Wietfeld.
