Community Blood Drive a Huge Success

            On Wednesday December 16th, the Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA held one of their numerous blood drives they hold throughout the year. Many citizens turned out to donate blood to those who need it. This bloodmobile was held at St. Mary’s Church from noon to six pm.

            Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA Advisor, Mrs. Megan Hillen was in charge of the blood drive. 

“We appreciate all those who took the time to donate at our December blood drive,” she said. “We collected a community high of 59 units!  Thanks for the continued support of the Red Cross and the Leigh-Clarkson FCCLA chapter.” 

            We would like to thank the Whole Blood donors: Steven Svitak, Steve Cleary, Kimberly Pinneo, Janice Kucera, Randy Pinneo, Jim Magsamen, Sharon Cerv, Glen Hake, Don Hoessel, Jeff McAfee, Roger Bruhn, Dianna Went, Carolyn Olson, Tom Kabes, Michael Hanna, Heather Kasik, Debra Faltys, Megan Folken, Robin Urban, Michelle Held, Alicia Holmberg, Michele Clausen, Taylor Larson, Troy Holmberg, Melissa Brabec, Darrell Bahns, Brooke Wiese, Trina Brabec, Mike Malena, Joy Malena, and Jennifer Hanna. 

            Along with the Whole Blood donors, we would also like to thank the Power Red donors: Nancy Mohnsen, Sheryl Johnson, Thomas Vrbicky, Anne Vrbicky, Ryan Hoffman, Mark Kabes, Brian Gall, Pete Reichmuth, Tiffany Cash, Ryan Hillen, and Laura Bahns.

            Including both Whole Blood donors and Power Red donors, we would like to give a huge congratulations and thank you to our first-time donors:  Makenna Held, Heather Held, Audie Tejkl, Aiden Miller, Bob Larson, and Natalie Brabec.
