Hollatz and Urban Awarded FCCLA Project Grant
Juniors Vylet Hollatz and Emersyn Urban were recently fortunate to receive a grant for
their STAR project in FCCLA. The junior girls applied for and received a grant from Beyond
School Bells through The Contribution Project. This grant will go toward their project that
focuses on donating winter clothes to different charities. The money will be spent on a shopping
trip to purchase the clothes being donated.
Emersyn said, “We are really excited that we got accepted for this grant! With this grant,
we received $400, and we are going to go shopping for winter clothing that will help families in
need. We appreciate all the support that we are receiving because it is all going toward a good
cause!”
FCCLA advisor Mrs. Hillen said, “I am incredibly proud of Emersyn and Vylet for being
selected to receive funding from Beyond School Bells. The additional funds will help their winter
clothing gear project make an even greater impact in our community, while allowing them to
further their leadership skills.”
