FCCLA Hosts Blood Drive
On Wednesday, March 11th, the Leigh FCCLA chapter held one of their numerous blood drives they hold throughout the year. Many citizens turned out to donate blood to those who need it. This bloodmobile was held at Leigh Community Schools from noon to six pm.
Leigh FCCLA Advisor, Mrs. Megan Hillen was in charge of the blood drive with some help from the senior FCCLA members.
Mrs. Hillen said, “Thank you to everyone who donated at our recent blood drive. Your donation supports those in need and helps our senior FCCLA members earn scholarship funding through the units collected.”
We would like to thank the Whole Blood donors: Thomas Schulze, Heather Kasik, Adam Cerv, Eric Broadbent, Bruce Wendt, Sandi Hakes-Gall, Ryan Hoffman, Jeff McAfee, Glen Hake, Mark Hoessel, Nevaeh Zulkoski, Dave Eisenmann, Carolyn Olson, Wes Went, Darren Gall, Susan Werner, Brian Maliha, Chris Herink, Kurt Dostal, Harlan Held, Samantha Farrier, Darrell Bahns, Jacqueline Sayers, and Ava Kasik.
Along with the Whole Blood donors, we would also like to thank the Power Red donors: Jeff Korus, Andrew Rivera, and Tyrell Pokorney.
Including both whole blood donors and power red donors, we would like to give a huge congratulations and thank you to our first-time donor: Nevaeh Zulkoski.
