FCCLA Hosts Parents Night Out Event
On Saturday February 14th, local families brought a total of 63 kids to Leigh High School for our FCCLA chapter’s Parent’s Night Out! Chapter members watched kids ranging from all ages, offering a fun night full of activities so parents could enjoy an evening out for Valentine’s Day!
Kids had a blast, with the gym being opened for them to play freely. There was a coloring and bracelet making room, and some kids went to the library to pick out books to read! Halfway through the night, kids were offered a snack. The night started at six with parents instructed to pick their kids up by ten, but many kids didn’t want to leave!
Chapter Officer, Ella Higby, said, “Parent’s Night Out was a huge success again this year! It was a fun night filled with several different activities that both the FCCLA chapter members and children in attendance got to enjoy. We received good feedback from families and look to continue this event in the future.”
Parent’s Night Out was a hit once again! We hope our FCCLA chapter continues this in the years to come!
