JV/JH Battles Through the Middle of their Seasons
The Panther Junior Varsity football team went on an 0-2 stretch in the middle of the season facing Neligh-Oakdale and Cross County.
They faced the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors on September 21st and battled through a 8-44 loss.
They then traveled to Cross County on September 28th where they suffered a 0-28 against the Cougars.
The Junior High also suffered a loss, 12-52 to the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors on September 21st.
When asked about the stretch through the middle of the season, coach Izac Reifenrath stated, “The JV team continues to work on little things throughout the year. It is a tough job for them as they get the varsity prepared each week for the next game, so we don’t get a lot of reps of our time. We have been preaching to them that the time they get is very important and they need to maximize it daily. We continue to take steps forward every week. We need to play a complete game with a lot of energy and effort from everyone!”
