Patriot C-Team VB Goes 3-0 at Wisner-Pilger Tourney

The C-Team Volleyball Team went 3-0 at the Wisner-Pilger tournament this past weekend. Every team they played, the games only went into two sets. Eight girls and one coach went to the tournament while the rest of the team went the varsity tournament in Stanton.
Sophmore Ella Kappel said, “We played really good at Wisner-Pilger, and even though we played difficult teams, we still pulled through and won!”
The Patriots played BRLD first, and the scores of the first set was 26-24. The second set was 25-18.
For the second game, they played GACC with the first set score of 25-20 and 25-22 the second set.
The final game was against Logan-View Scribner-Snyder. The score of the first set was 25-12 and the second set was 25-21.
Coach KC Hegemann was pleased with her team. “I thought the girls played a great overall tournament, Hegemann said. “They took control of the game when needed, which helped develop that understanding of how important momentum is in the game of volleyball. They were really fun to watch at times.”
