JH VB Sweeps Gators
The first JH Panther Volleyball games ended in success!
On Tuesday, September 1, the junior high volleyball team faced the Wisner-Pilger Gators in Leigh.
The Panthers fought hard and came out with wins for all three teams.
The A team won in 2 sets, 1st set 25-16, 2nd set 25-12.
The B team won in 2 sets, 1st set 25-18, 2nd set 25-17.
The C team won in 2 sets, 1st set 25-8, 2nd set 25-13.
The 8th Grade volleyball players include Eisley Urban, Emery Malena, Harper Wendt, Kinna Closson, Layla Hollatz, Livia Cash, Mariah Kasik, and Olivia Hake.
The 7th Grade volleyball players include Adalee Brugman, Allisyn Zabka, Arianna Wiese, Ava Bahns, Caitlyn Hastreiter, Cambree Brabec, Camila Hernandez, Julia Hernandez-Zacarias, Kalyn Beller, Katelyn Lange, Kinlee Olson, Lakin Mullenhoff, Presley Wietfeld, Sophie Loeske, and Taytum Larson.
They are coached this year by Mr. Seth Cash and Mrs. Jennifer Maliha
8th grader Kinna Clossen said, “I think it’s going to go well, because we have some good teams. The game went well because we had good communication.”
Coach Maliha stated, “It was nice to get some wins in the first games. All of the girls played well. We still have some growing to do but will find lots of success.”
