BBB C-Team Continues to Learn

The boys C basketball team is continuing to gain experience with each game they play. This year's team is a young, promising team. On January 16, the Patriot C-Team traveled to Dodge to take on the Howells-Dodge Jaguars.

The Patriots battled hard, but ended up falling short with a score of 41-66. The shooting of Howells-Dodge was too much for the Patriots. The Patriots kept it close in the first half, but as the Jaguars continued to hit shots, the Patriots fell short.

One week later, the Patriot C-Team took on the West Point-Beemer Cadets. The Patriots were defeated 38-41 in a tough game from both teams. The height of West Point-Beemer was just enough to squeak by a win for the Cadets. The game was neck and neck, but West Point-Beemer made a couple more plays at the end, leading to a Cadet win.

When asked about the games, freshman Quentin Mullenhoff said, “We played hard in both these games, but we couldn’t end up coming out with wins. As we continue to learn we can fix the little mistakes and continue to improve.”

The Boys’ C-Team’s record is now 2-4 with a game against Madison on February 6.
