New Faces on the Boys’ BB Team
It’s that time of year again when it’s time to step away from the field and onto the court.
There are 22 boys who are playing basketball this year. The coaches are Mr. Jeff Bachman, Mr. Connor Blum, and Mr. Andy Bachman.
When asked about how he thinks that the upcoming season will go, Mr. Jeff Bachman said, “I am looking forward to this season. We have guys stepping up into new spots and working to keep raising the level of our program. I am excited to see how much we can achieve.”
The guards for this season are Ryan Brichacek, Jack Brabec, Max Muhle, Trey Steffensmeier, Zach Gall, Luke Eisenmann, Vicente Alvarado, Wyatt Crosley, Grant Hanel, Jeryn Struebing, Blake Loseke, Cody Jedlicka, and Ben Rodenburg.
The centers on the team are Christian Hamernik, Korbin Lemburg, Nile Jones, and Jacob Kroeger. Finally, the forwards on the team are Jordan Noonan, Conner Jurgensen, Otto Crecco, Tucker Matthies, and Kyle McMullin.
The boys opened their season playing a Jamboree game on the road against Wynot. Unfortunately, they lost, but this game does not count against their record and was a good opening game for practice.
Senior Jack Brabec, “We have all new starters this year and I think that we are going to surprise a lot of people. I know that we have a lot to prove but I think that we will rise up to the challenge.”
