Junior High VB Team Picks Up Wins

The Patriot junior high volleyball team has been keeping busy, with two games in the same week right after Labor Day.

On September 5th, the Patriots played against Madison and won both games.

JH Volleyball Coach Seth Cash stated, “We played an unusual game that night.  We only played a C team and A team games, per request from Madison. This meant we had to divide up our Bs between the A and C teams.  I felt our B girls were a helpful addition to the C squad and those that played up with the A team complimented them well.  This was only our second game of the season and we saw definite areas of growth along with areas to improve.

Overall, I was pleased to see how our girls played considering some of them were playing with team members they might not usually share the court with.  This game was a change for us to get better and grow as a team,” Cash continued.

Just two days later, on September 7th, junior high Patriot Volleyball played against Schuyler.

JH Coach Jennifer Maliha stated, “This was a competitive serve and pass game with Schuyler. We were able to keep them out of system enough to get a few more points to finish the game. These girls are showing great improvement from last year.

C team and B team lost their games, but A team won, adding another win to their season.

The A team record is undefeated so far at 3-0!
