C Team back in action
On January 22, it was finally the time for the C team girls to get back on the court after winter break. The Patriots took on the Boone Central Cardinals in Clarkson.
The girls were ready to play and played with a lot of physicality. Unfortunately, turnovers allowed the Cardinals to score. The Patriots ended up falling to the Cardinals 24-39.
C team coach Becca Hiatt said, “It was good to be back on the court after not having a C team game in a month. The girls came out and played hard and moved the ball well. We have to continue to improve rebounding and limiting turnovers.”
“Even though we didn't get the outcome we wanted, we hustled after all loose balls and had good looks towards the hoop,” said freshman, Emersyn Urban.
