Boys’ C Team Loses at Tekamah

The C-team boys’ basketball team finished their season by traveling to Tekamah to compete in a tournament on Saturday, February 17th. They took on the Tekamah-Herman Tigers and the Lyons-Decatur Cougars, but just fell short of winning either game, despite their best efforts.

They played the Tigers closely, but lost 13-17 and went on to play the Cougars, whom they again lost to 18-35.

The Patriots placed fourth in the tournament.

Freshman Blake Loseke said, “I'm very disappointed that we couldn't win in the tournament, but I'm not disappointed with the way that we played. We went out with intentions to play our pace of game, and that's what we did.”

Coach Andrew Bachman said, “The C Team tournament in Tekamah didn't end up the way we wanted it to. Even though we lost both games, our boys played hard defense the whole time and worked their butts off. They should be proud of their efforts even though the scores weren't what we were hoping for.”

The Patriot C team ended their season 1-4.
