Girls’ C Team Downs David City

Win after win!
The Clarkson-Leigh C-Team Basketball Girls had yet another win. This team works well together and improves every game, and it has been showing with all of their wins. Their latest game was held on Monday, January 11, and the girls defeated David City.
“We played well and have improved a lot since our first game in December. Our defense has increased its intensity causing turnovers and we've been making better offensive decisions which open up scoring opportunities,” said C Team coach Jennifer Remmereid.
“We worked together as a team and had aggressive defense, and that helped us win. It was a great C-team game for us!” said Deandra Rivera.
After a couple January games were canceled due to weather, he next C-team girls’ basketball game will be held in Madison at 6 p.m. on February 8.
