Boys Defeat Tekamah-Herman
The Clarkson-Leigh Patriot boys’ basketball team had a couple mid-season games against the 9-4 North Bend Tigers on January 8th, 2026 and against the 5-6 Tekamah-Herman Tigers on January 10th.

Sophomore starter, Cash Fehringer, said, “It was a hard-fought game, and we now know what we need to work on to finish games so that we can rack up more wins. It sucks that we couldn’t get it going in the second half to finish with a win, but it was a good learning experience.”
In the game, the boys were led by McMullin, who scored 27 points. Senior Tucker Matthies had a great balanced game finishing with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Clarkson Leigh boys’ team stayed on the home floor against the Tekamah-Herman Tigers. The Tigers had the upper hand with a record of 5-6 to the Patriots’ 3-9.
The Patriots started out hot and pulled out to a 27-16 lead in the first half against the Tigers. After the first half, the boys didn’t slow down and increased their lead to 17 after the 3rd quarter.
