Leigh Knocked Out of Radio Quiz Bow
After advancing very far into the KTCH Quiz Bowl for the past several years, the Leigh Quiz Bowl team was stunned by Crofton this year with a loss in the first round.
On Friday, January 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Crofton defeated Leigh 3-1, knocking them out of the 64-team tournament.
The team is coached by Maddie Gall, and the people on the team this year included Liz Hoffman, Trevor Hoffman, Luke Eisenmann, and Brayden Loseke.
Brayden Loske stated, “It was a tough match. I'm sad our team didn't get further, but we still had fun.”
Coach Maddie Gall stated, “I was excited to see the start of the Quiz Bowl season. Crofton had the luck of the draw in earning the first point. I’m looking forward to hosting the Quiz Bowl in April and attending the NECC Quiz Bowl meet as well!”
