Cyclones Struggle to Find Groove
This week on Tuesday, September 1st, the Hwy 91 Cyclones faced off against Blue River at home, and on Thursday, September 3rd, played Logan View/Scribner-Snyder in an away match.
The Cyclones played with lots of effort, however, both of their games ended in a loss for the Hwy 91 Cyclones. The final score of the Blue River game ended 7-14 and the LVSS game ended with a final score of 3-7.
Junior Shaylynn Marty said, “Even though we lost we fought hard and scored some runs.”
Senior Grace Hansen said, “We came out strong with our bats, scoring 3 runs in the first inning. We were a little slow on defense, which caused us to give up runs and hurt us in the end. Overall, we hit well, but didn't finish with the outcome we were looking for.”
